One of the most common X-Cart tweaks I am asked to develop for the order management section, is to provide colour labelling for the order statuses.

Louis Harboe, a talented icon and interface designer, is sharing a set of 35 credit card icons in his blog Graphicpeel.
Icons include all major credit card providers like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc. with multiple versions and also there are items for PayPal, Google Checkout or Amazon too.
They are sized 32*32px and come in .PNG format.
We look after a lot of domains for clients where most of the domains are on shared hosting. It would be nice to know if your server becomes unavailable and to know what the uptime has been and compare it to the hosts expectations.
We use a free online app from Uptime Robot http://www.uptimerobot.com/. You can register upto 50 domains for free and be told by email, sms, twitter if your site is down and how long for.
I came across http://www.scriptcopy.com/ today. This site lists well known online apps such as facebook, twitter etc and allows your to find scripts that do the same and install on your webserver.
The X-Cart website has 15 free CSS templates that can be installed on Xcart 4.2.

Whats New X-Cart Module FREE
AheadWorks are giving away a free module for X-Cart. This module creates a automatically generated category called ‘Whats New‘.
Clicking on this will show all the products added to the site in the last x days. On returning to the site at a later date a prompt will appear telling the customer that x number of products have been added to the site since their last visit and provide a link to see only these products.
